Performance with Chikako Kaido „Today I've had an Infusion“ and Screening „Radioactivists“
The HPZ Foundation is once again addressing the Fukushima reactor disaster and stressing its ongoing global relevance.
Choreographer Chikako Kaido's solo performance "Today I've Had An Infusion" seeks alternative coping strategies rather than repression. The helplessness in the face of this drama finds nonverbal expression through the body. In collaboration with Antonio Stella and with musical accompaniment by Shunsuke Oshio (Ai), the spaces of the guest room become the stage for a moving performance.
The documentary "Radioactivists" by filmmakers Julia Leser and Clarissa Seidel will be shown afterward. The Fukushima disaster not only changed the protest culture in Japan, but also motivated the need for a rethink in energy policy worldwide. A panel discussion with all participants and the audience will conclude the program.
Selected by Katja Stuke.
