In October, the Music Room is under the sign of the rising sun and the close connection between Düsseldorf and Japan, which we will celebrate together with the band sub-tle, of the Japanese artist Satoshi Okamoto (Düsseldorf /Berlin), and the first project of the two visual artists Gia Edzgveradze (Prof. Alanus Hochschule für Kunst und Gesellschaft) & Hiroyuki Murase (Kiecol Klasse).
sub-tle. is a sound project by Satoshi Okamoto, which is especially dedicated to improvisation with electronic and acoustic live sounds. After the first album "pre_mary" (label : onpa), sub-tle. Then in 2013 the second album: "leam" as Satoshi Okamato's solo album (produced by Andi Thoma / Mouse On Mars). Satoshi Okamoto also participated in the Japandorf project of Klaus Dinger (ex Kraftwerk member, NEU! and La Düsseldorf) and realised several international collaborations with different artists, poets, writers, photographers, contemporary dancers and various museums all over the world.
We are pleased to welcome sub-tle. to the Musikzimmer in a band formation and with live visuals by Kiyasu (TechnikLAB*). The band is completed by Hoshiko Yamane (violin / a.k.a. Tangerine Dream, Jane Birkin etc.) and Masaya Hijikata (drum / a.k.a mi-kuni,DEGGI DAAJ INTERNATIONAL).
The experimental joint venture of Gia Edzgveradze and Hiroyuki Murase provides a musical surprise package with a lot of excitement and improvisation. A joint venture that can be described roughly like this: Successful visual artist and performer meets artist and experimental musician. Hiroyuki Murase is an old acquaintance in the music room, who recently appeared on our stage with his project KAMAKIRI as part of the Damo Suzuki Network (Can) and has already caused a stir in Du?sseldorf with his band Tasogare world.
