space_relations_Treffen

On November 21, 2024, the core team of space_relations was introduced. 

During the day, the members of the Conceptual Team—Lea Schleiffenbaum, Vanessa Joan Müller, Yukiko Shikata, Marguerite Pilven, Mischa Kuball, Wolfgang Schäfer, Janine Blöß, and Martha Martens—went on an exploratory tour of Düsseldorf to confront questions about space_relations at various locations. They visited the Höherweg car dealership district, Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, Grabbeplatz, the Schmela Haus (now Galerie Max Mayer and the showroom of Galerie Hans Mayer), the FFT, Freiraum, and tanzhaus.

On the evening of November 21, initial information and insights into the project were presented. A keynote speech by Lea Schleiffenbaum on the topic of Art and public spaces. Stimulating thoughts on simultaneity, everyday life, and memor invited reflection and led into an informal exchange over light refreshments.
