MUSIKZIMMER
Concert
Kick-off concert in the MUSIKZIMMER!
FREDDA enchants us with chansons, uptempo songs and her French charm.
The evening will be opened by multi-instrumentalist and solo musician Sorayah, who has received several awards for her talent.
Back to the future with Fredda
It's quite amazing. After a solo career with six albums, Fredda has discovered a previously unknown side to herself: her talent for uptempo songs. You might have expected a beat like that on "Long", "Dorveille" or "Vent diable" from the Strokes. But not from the gentle chanteuse, who has already been influenced by haikus for her songs and who achieved the highest possible degree of introspection on her previous album "Bisolaire". And even more astonishing: it works in a very natural way.
At just 17 years old, Sorayah is already a producer, singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and solo musician. In 2023, she was awarded the Düsseldorf Cultural Office's Band Professionalization Grant as an outstanding talent and won the Citybeats competition. The self-made music artist is originally from the USA and has lived in Germany since 2018. In the MUSIKZIMMER she presents her current album: "Carbon Mask".
