Andreas Kümmert is THE blues-rock singer from Germany. His characterful voice and talent for great goosebump songs are timeless.

For as long as Andreas Kümmert can remember, music has been his language. His breakthrough came in 2013: Kümmert won the TV show "The Voice Of Germany" with his own composition "Simple Man". Since then, he has been the talk of the town with his unique blues and soul voice and, unlike most participants in such TV formats, has remained consistently successful.

Kümmert has used the past two pandemic years extensively to work intensively on his new record with his two collaborators Stefan Kahne and Michael Germer. "I always thought to myself, it has to go on," he says.
His new album with the expressive title "Working class hero" was released on 14.04.2023 (Soulfood Music) and encompasses all facets of the exceptional artist, from expressive rock'n'roll numbers to rousing ballads. a newly recorded version of his former "The Voice" hit "Rocket Man" can also be found on the album. The song was originally written by Elton John and still earns Kümmert his nickname "Rocket Man" today. A paraphrase of the phenomenon that is Andreas Kümmert: a down-to-earth, completely grounded character who suddenly explodes on stage. "The song is simply part of my story," says Kümmert. "I thought it deserved to end up on an album one day."
